HOMEWARD
A Monthly Dark Moon Ritual
Mon Jul 13, Tue Aug 11, Thu Sep 10 @ 8:30pm
Once a month, on the dark moon, we pause.
To notice and honor where we are.
“The dark moon has always felt like the quietest point in the month to me. Before momentum returns. Before life gets loud again. A moment when it becomes a little easier to hear what has been quietly waiting beneath all the doing.”
Each gathering is simple.
We spend about twenty minutes exploring an intention—not something to force into existence, but something your own experience is already pointing toward.
Then we breathe.
The breath is gentle. Slow. Guided through the Breathwork Mastery RBM method—a nervous-system-friendly approach that creates space rather than intensity.
Think of it as something between breathwork and Yoga Nidra: awake, present, and guided by your own inner wisdom.
Just enough space for your body to remember what your mind may have forgotten.
After the breath, we gather for another twenty minutes to reflect, integrate, and witness one another. Often the insights arrive there, in words you didn't know you were carrying.
You don't need any experience.
Just a quiet corner, an internet connection, and a willingness to spend an hour listening inward.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Goals and intentions both have their place, but they begin in different places.
A goal asks, "What do I want to achieve?"
An intention asks, "How do I want to meet my life?"
Goals focus on outcomes—finishing a project, changing a habit, reaching a milestone.
An intention is the quality you want to embody while moving through whatever life brings. It might be courage, honesty, trust, curiosity, or compassion.
In yoga, this is called sankalpa—a heartfelt resolve that arises from your deeper knowing rather than from self-criticism or ambition. It isn't about becoming someone else. It's about remembering who you are beneath the noise.
At Homeward, we begin there.
Before deciding what comes next, we take a moment to remember what matters most.
