Pelvic Floor

health Series

Your pelvis isn’t broken - it’s been adapting.

To stress.
To holding.
To life.

This series is an invitation to return to your pelvic center — not through fixing or forcing, but through listening, softening, and rebuilding trust from the inside out.

We work slowly.
We stay curious.
We let the body
lead.

For those who want to:

  • Run, jump, hike, lift, laugh, cough, or sneeze without leaking or bracing

  • Soften chronic gripping or holding in the pelvis

  • Feel more internal support without “doing exercises right”

  • Reconnect with the pelvis as a source of creativity, sensation, and strength

  • Learn practices that make sense in real life — not just on the mat

No prior yoga or pelvic work is needed.

THE CLASSES

The classes are guided somatic and yoga therapy–informed practices; we move slowly and with intention, creating space to notice how your body responds in real time.

In each class, you’ll be invited to:

  • Notice sensation in the pelvis, belly, and breath

  • Explore how breathing supports or interferes with pelvic ease

  • Feel how simple movements and posture change internal support

  • Practice engaging and releasing the pelvic floor — without forcing

  • Pause, reflect, and listen to what your body is communicating

Rather than isolating muscles or focusing on technique, we explore relationships
between breath and support,
between posture and ease,
between movement and stability,
between engagement and release.

I guide the structure and practices, and you’re encouraged to listen to your own experience — sensations, thoughts, and emotions — and to move in ways that feel supportive for you.

Think of the classes as building relationship and trust rather than training muscles.

Classes You’ll Attend

meet on Mondays every 2 weeks. Recordings are sent out to those who cannot make it live.

Jan 26, Feb 9, Feb 23 and Mar 9 at 10:00 AM MST —
that is 9:00 AM PST · 12:00 PM EST · 5:00 PM GMT

  • We begin by listening.
Through slow movement and guided awareness, you’ll map sensation in the pelvis, belly, and breath — orienting to your internal landscape and how support is already organizing itself.

  • Often, the first step toward pelvic health is not strengthening, it’s allowing the body to let go.

The first class explores how relaxation, breath, and nervous system safety support pelvic responsiveness and ease.

  • Support does not come from clenching.

In the second session, we explore coordinated engagement — how the pelvic floor works with breath and the rest of the body, allowing you to move with confidence and less effort.

  • A nervous-system–soothing, meditative practice focused on the pelvis as a center of creativity, grounding, and energy.

This class offers a gentle introduction to pelvic steaming at home for those who feel drawn to it. Steaming is optional — the class stands fully on its own.

You Might Be Asking…

WHY Go Deeper

Some bodies want more space.
More time.
More listening.

Alongside the group series, I offer one-on-one somatic and yoga therapy sessions for those who want individualized guidance or are working with more complexity.

Private sessions are a place to slow down and have two people attend to your body — your history, your patterns, your questions.

Private Sessions May Be Supportive If You:

  • Want personalized guidance rather than general instruction

  • Are navigating prolapse, postpartum recovery, menopause, or long-standing patterns

  • Feel unsure how to apply group practices to your own body

  • Want space for nuance, pacing, and ongoing integration

  • Simply sense that your body would benefit from being met one-to-one

What PrivateS Looks Like:

  • A 90-minute intake session
A spacious, attuned conversation to understand your body, history, and intentions

  • 60-minute follow-up sessions
Personalized movement, breath, and somatic practices tailored to you
Once a month or every two weeks

  • Ask questions, adjust practices, and move at your own pace

✺ Questions You Might Be Holding ✺

  • Leaking is often a sign that the system is out of rhythm — not that you are weak or broken.

This work supports pelvic floor health by restoring responsiveness: the ability to soften, engage, and respond at the right moment. Many women find that as they learn to breathe, move, and sense differently, leaking decreases — sometimes quietly, without fanfare.

No forcing. No gripping. Just a gradual return to support.

  • If you’re living with prolapse, you’re not alone — and you’re not disqualified from this work.

We approach prolapse with care, respect, and pacing. The focus is on support, relationship, and awareness, not strain or pushing. You’ll be encouraged to listen closely to your body and to work within your own comfort and capacity.

If you’re unsure whether this series is right for you, I’m happy to talk it through with you first.

  • Yes — and especially if you’re past the immediate early weeks and wanting to rebuild trust with your body.

This work does not rush recovery. It honors the deep changes that pregnancy and birth create — physically, emotionally, and energetically. We move slowly, with attention to breath, rest, and internal support.

You don’t need to “get back” to anything.
You’re learning how to move forward.

  • Subtle doesn’t mean insignificant.

The pelvic floor responds to attention, timing, and safety. Small shifts, practiced consistently, can lead to meaningful change — in how you move, how you feel, and how you trust your body.

    This work isn’t loud.
    But it is real.

  • This work is deeply supportive during hormonal transitions.

Changes in sensation, tissue tone, and pelvic awareness are common during perimenopause and menopause. Rather than fighting those changes, we explore how to adapt, soften, and support the body as it is now.

Many women find this work helps them feel more grounded, present, and connected during a time that can otherwise feel disorienting.

  • Not at all.

You don’t need flexibility, strength, or anatomical knowledge. What matters most is curiosity and willingness to feel.

I guide clearly and simply, and you’re always invited to meet the practices in your own way.

  • No.

Pelvic steaming is offered as an optional bonus — a ritual of warmth, rest, and connection. It is shared with clear guidance around safety and choice.

You are never required to steam, and you’re encouraged to listen to what feels supportive for you.

Contraindications

This work is gentle, relational, and paced — and it’s not meant to replace medical or clinical care.

This series may not be appropriate if:

  • You are experiencing acute pelvic pain, active infection, or unexplained bleeding

  • You are in the immediate early postpartum period and have not yet been cleared for gentle movement

  • You’ve been advised by a medical provider to avoid movement or pelvic loading at this time

  • You are seeking hands-on pelvic floor physical therapy or internal assessment

  • You are looking for fast results or a highly prescriptive exercise program

In these cases, I encourage you to seek support that meets you where you are — and to return to this work when your body is ready.

Important Notes

  • This offering is educational and supportive in nature

  • I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions

  • This work is not a substitute for medical care or pelvic floor physical therapy

  • If you are currently working with a healthcare provider, this work may complement — but does not replace — that care

You are always encouraged to listen to your body, choose what feels appropriate, and reach out with questions before enrolling.

A Final Word

There is no rush.

Pelvic health unfolds over time, through attention, pacing, and trust.
If this is not the right moment, that doesn’t mean it never will be.

And if you’re unsure, you’re welcome to ask.

Have courage!
