Here are the resources I turn to when I want to throw up my hands.
Podcasts:
UNRUFFLED ~ Respectful Parenting with Janet Lansbury.
Magda Gerber, a Hungarian lady (like yours truly) that immigrated to Los Angeles in her thirties, is probably one of the most influential early childhood educators. Janet teaches Magda Gerberās parenting principles. Great podcast for those with kids 0-4 or 5.
GOOD INSIDE - with Dr. Becky Kennedy
Great ātroubleshootingā or parent pep talks for parents with kids any age. Dr Becky also has an online seminar community I heard great things about!
courses:
Reconnected Parenting | The Reconnected
If spiritual parenting floats your boat this is it!
Super unique approach: Play Therapy meets Breathwork meets Attachment theory meets Nervous System education.

Terry Real is a therapist who invented a new approach in couples counseling, and this is his same approach transposed to parenting. Compassionate. Whereas in other parenting courses I sometimes feel pangs of shame in response to how advice is framed, here - there is no shame, just agency. I learned so much.
Whyās My Kid Acting So Crazy?
Kelly LaPorta LMFT is all about radical responsibility and parent nervous system regulation. This ladyās stuff is tough love, no bs.
Instagram ātherapyā

Kelly LaPorta's Wired for Wellbeing posts are very eye opening
Dr Becky is just a classic as far as I am concerned and every parent with an instagram will be happy to see her posts
Feeding Littles their instagram is 80% comedy but their courses are legit
Big Time Adulting comedienne makes me feel so seen. Pure gold if dark humor floats your boat.
This reel will make you cry! - I saved it and watch it every time Iām fed up with the kids developmental stage.
